October 2015 marks the 21st Anniversary of the birth of world renowned, Melbourne-based performing arts company Strange Fruit.

Strange Fruit will celebrate it’s significant milestone with free performances as part of this year’s Melbourne Festival on Saturday 17 and Saturday 24 October. Come down and enjoy the fun!

You are also invited to celebrate the milestone in the Spiegeltent at the Foxtel Festival Hub from 9pm. There will be live performances, DJs and dancing.

In the years since their premiere performance at Melbourne Festival in 1994, the company’s iconic sway poles have been seen in more than 50 countries and over 250 festival around the world. The company has featured in many major events including The Rugby World Cup, Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and Paralympics, AFL Grand Final, FINA World Swimming Championships and The President’s Cup Golf Championships, as well as three World Expos.
