In this free public event at Federation Square, the acclaimed ILBIJERRI Theatre Company brings together Elders from the five Kulin Nations to open the Melbourne Festival in a powerful Welcome to Country. Fusing music, performance and storytelling with cultural traditions that stretch back over 40,000 years, TANDERRUM celebrates the proud and living culture of the land’s traditional owners.
