Artist Angela Cavalieri
A magical dream of Venice comes to Melbourne, with this combination of music and art inspired by revolutionary Italian composer Claudio Monteverdi.
Multi–award–winning artist Angela Cavalieri returns from a residency at Venice’s Scuola Internazionale di Grafica to present new works based on Monteverdi’s final opera, alongside monumental prints inspired by his Madrigals of War and Love.
The exhibition is a culmination of Angela’s exploration of music as storytelling from the last four years including a commission from the Arts Centre Victoria and her Creative Fellowship at State Library Victoria.
