Performing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Melbourne Festival is celebrating the sell-out Annual China Southern Airlines Concert in the Sidney Myer Music Bowl with a live and free stream to Fed Square’s Big Screen.

In their only Melbourne show for 2015, electronic music sensations Flight Facilities join forces with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to recreate the duo’s five year journey to acclaimed debut album Down To Earth. More than 80 musicians and special guest vocalists, along with a spectacular light installation from French studio CHEVALVERT with lighting operations by Colourblind, will bring together the converging worlds of electronic and orchestral music in a world premiere collaboration of soaring proportions.

The live screening starts at 8pm with a special guest appearance by George Maple.

Share the fun on social media using the #melbfest and #ffxmso hashtags – the best photos and tweets will end up on the Big Screen!
